With all the hoopla this week going on with the return of rap titan Lil Kim who dropped two tracks this week for fans, we decided its only right to pay homage to the original Queen Bee for Throwback Thursday. Kim has such a long catalog its hard to pick one song to celebrate her, but in the spirit of her return we chose one of our personal faves ‘Came Back For You’.
The track appeared on her 2003 acclaimed album ‘La Bella Mafia’ and to this day serves as a fave for her fans. In the song Kim reportedly addressed her long time beef with Foxy Brown and her short lived feud with Eve, who have since made amends. The song is so timeless and such classic Kim that it can easily apply to this current era. Here’s hoping to more hot music like this from the Queen of rap!
