Music lovers attending the 2024 Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas this weekend are certainly not feeling the love after organizers announced moments ago that the annual festival is canceled.

The one-day event was set to kick off around noon on Saturday (May 4). However, festival organizers took to the official IG page early Saturday after midnight, to reveal that the entire day was now canceled due to weather-related issues.

Saturday’s Lovers & Friends Festival at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds has been canceled.

Lovers & Friends Festival organizers have been monitoring the weather for several days and proactively preparing for a windy Saturday.  However, the National Weather Service has now issued a High Wind Warning, including dangerous 30-35 mph sustained winds with gusts potentially more than 60 mph.  Following advice from the National Weather Service and in consultation with local public officials, we must make the safest decision for our fans, artists, and staff, and cancel tomorrow’s Lovers & Friends Festival.

This was an incredibly heartbreaking decision to make as we are aware that fans have traveled from all over the world to enjoy this incredible lineup of superstars and have been looking forward to this event for several months.  We’ve worked hard to create an amazing event for you, and we are just as disappointed as you are.

Ticketholders who purchased their tickets directly through Front Gate Tickets will receive a refund within 30 days to the original form of payment.

Travelers who were already in Las Vegas or en route to the city of lights received the disheartening news, that they would no longer be able to witness their fave artists.

The list of canceled acts included Janet Jackson, Usher, Brandy, The Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Ciara, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and more.

As expected, concert-goers who purchased tickets months ago took to the comment section to voice their frustration and outrage.

No word whether the festival will be rescheduled. Following the announcement, several acts on the bill including Janet Jackson, Tank, and more also took to social media to confirm the news.
