The excitement for Janet continued on Saturday night as she did it again with parts 3 & 4!

The two-part documentary Janet Jackson averaged 3.1 million total viewers for its premiere ratings last week on Lifetime and A&E, the networks said Tuesday, marking the best nonfiction debut in viewership and ratings on cable since ESPN’s Michael Jordan docuseries The Last Dance.

The networks said today that the doc also drew 3.7 million video views across Lifetime and A&E’s on-demand platforms, with linear and video views on digital combining to reach 15.7 million total viewers.

As if that wasn’t enough, several albums and singles from her music catalog stormed iTunes over the weekend and continued into the new week taking over various charts including the R&B charts, pop charts, overall charts, and even the iTunes music video charts.

Janet took to social media to share just some of the stats and to also thank her devoted fans for their support.

We love to see it! As far as new music, fans were gifted during the closing of the documentary with the snippet of her new song ‘Luv I Luv’ produced by Harmony Samuels.

No word though on when fans can expect the full song or her previously announced new album ‘Black Diamond.’
