Are you finding it hard to keep up with all the Real Housewives of Atlanta drama, because there is a lot of it. By now you have heard all about the statement issued from Curtis Benjamin, Founder and CEO of Saving Our Daughters, the organization which was featured on the week’s past episode where Kenya Moore held a charity masquerade auction in honor of the organization’s long time contributor Nene Leakes to benefit the cause. If you missed it read it HERE.
Well today comes word that Kenya Moore indeed DID pay the organization and forwarded all contributions she received at the event according to reports from B. Scott who obtained leaked text messages from Kenya and the company founder Curtis confirming receipt of multiple payments from Kenya, as well as conversations regarding the success of the event (acknowledged by Curtis himself).
In the leaked text messages dating October 2013, Curtis thanks Kenya for her personal donation in addition to the donations they received from the event (see below)
Kenya also released copies of her checks issued to the organization and for other expenses including catering, rental fee of the event venue which is said to have cost $5,000.00 (not pictured). as well as an exclusive statement to B. Scott below:
“It’s unfortunate Mr. Curtis Benjamin was not aware of the effort I put into trying to make the event a success for Saving Our Daughters or overlooked the texts regarding the intended honoree. I spent over $10,000 dollars to make the charity event successful, in addition to making a personal donation from the event as well as forwarding any and all donations collected. I hope the focus can shift to the young girls and I wish the organization nothing but the best in the future.”
Curtis nor Saving Our Daughters have yet to issue a response to Kenya’s evidence. Kenya would later release the following tweets AND response to Nene for her accusations and also told OK! Magazine that she is not sure of whether or not she plans to return to the show. Peep all of that below.
I have video proof more check copies and a contract too so pls do not come for me unless I send for you. #dropsmicrophone #grabsbible2pray4u

Her quotes to OK! Magazine on whether she plans to return for next season:
“If Bravo asked me to come back, I’d have to really think about it,” she told OK! Magazine. “Right at this moment, it’s a very tough question.”
“I don’t want you to take that the wrong way, because I’m nobody’s victim and never will be. But at some point you want people to put aside their differences and back you up because it’s the right thing to do,” she said.
“I will never shrink in the presence of anyone,”
“If that is what they would like me to do so they can feel more comfortable around me, it will never happen. You have to just be you and never shrink who you are for anybody,”
