Nicki Minaj ended her social media hiatus earlier this week when she returned to Instagram and teased new music for fans.
She amplified the excitement when she took back to social media throughout the week to tease that the single would be titled ‘Fractions‘ and that she would be going live on IG Thursday night minutes ahead of the song’s release at midnight.
As promised, Nicki went live and was joined midway through by Drake who Nicki credited for getting her out of her writer’s block and break. She also revealed that she is re-releasing her ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ mixtape which dropped 12 years ago.
The mixtape has never been on streaming services until now, and the re-release will feature the original 18 tracks, as well as three new ones including ‘Fractions,’ ‘Crocodile Teeth (Remix),’ and ‘Seeing Green,’ ft. Drake and Lil Wayne. It will also feature previously released tracks ‘Chi-Raq’ and ‘Boss Ass Bitch (Remix).’
