Mya is on the promo trail for her new reality series ‘Girls Cruise‘ where she co-stars with Lil’ Kim and Chilli of TLC on VH1–which just debuted this week to stellar ratings.

While on the promo run, the DMV native sat down with Global Grind for an interview to discuss the show, and more. In a nostalgic moment, the singer dished on her time on the 90’s BET youth driven talk show ‘Teen Summit‘ which ran for 11 seasons from September 16, 1989 to August 31, 2002.

For those that don’t know, Mya’s first job was as a cast member of the show from 1996 to 1997 before she was signed and released her self titled debut album in 1998.

Mya previously dished on her time on the show during an interview with BET from 2018.

Fast forward to this week during her Global Grind stop–she reiterated her love for ‘Teen Summit’ and desire for it to come back. Get into her fresh statements below.

Since it’s cancellation, ‘Teen Summit’ has returned twice–as a special called Teen Summit: Backstage Pass on June 21, 2007, then on June 25, 2017 as a part of that year’s ‘BET Experience’ in Los Angeles as part of BET Awards week.

Would you be here for an official BET ‘Teen Summit’ reboot?
