Mo’Nique Fires Back In New Showtime ‘Live From Atlanta’ Comedy Special: “They Tried To Shut a Bitch Out..You Can’t Keep a Good Bitch Down” [Video]

Posted January 18, 2020

It looks like Mo’Nique‘s comeback is on the horizon!

After being blackballed, ostracized and engaged in several fallouts and firestorms the past couple years, the Academy Award-winning actress/comedian is making her triumphent return.

We told you just weeks ago that Mo’Nique had landed her first major movie role in some time. Well now, after a major beef with Netflix over being lowballed for a planned comedy special, Mo’Nique has officially inked a deal with Showtime to host her own special ‘Mo’Nique & Friends: Live From Atlanta.’

“They tried to shut a bitch out! They tried to make a bitch disappear!…but you can’t keep a good bitch down!!” she reveals in the official trailer.

Apparently Mo is keeping it 100 and coming all the way hard for the special which is set to air on February 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

The hour-long special was filmed at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse and will feature fellow comedians Donnell Rawlings, Prince T-Dub, Tone-x, Correy Bell and Just Nesh.
