While dedicated Destiny’s Child fans are waiting for recently alleged reunion tour and album rumors to pan out, the group’s former manager Mathew Knowles has given fans something to tide them over–previously unreleased music. Although we’re not sure if the fans actually asked for this.

Back in October, Mathew took to his social media to tease that he had plans to bring an album of previously unreleased music from the girls to streaming platforms in December. The album would feature early music from the group when they were known as Girls Tyme–long before their major success as Destiny’s Child.

He returned to IG in November to announce a release date of December 2 for the project.

Well, as promised the project has officially been released and is titled ‘Destiny’s Child: The Untold Story Presents Girls Tyme‘–and features 15 never before heard songs from the group with early vocals from Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LaToya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson.

Up until now, fans of the group could only hear the music from their early days via clips of their ‘Star Search’ performances on YouTube and as featured in personal footage from the ladies.

The new release was initially confirmed by a Bey fan page on Instagram and after a quick search on streaming services, it’s officially legit.

You can check out the project on all streaming platforms now, and below.
