News and social media personality, Jeannette Reyes broke the hearts of fans and viewers back in early December when she announced she would be leaving her coveted spot at FOX 5 in Washington, DC.

Fans of Reyes who had become accustomed to her relatable, and witty humor every morning as part of the ‘Good Day DC’ morning show team, were shocked at the news of her departure after three years on the network.

Fans were crushed to see the exit of the personality who had become not only part of their morning routine and daily lives during the pandemic, but also part of their families.

However, they were comforted by the fact that Jeannette would continue providing content on motherhood, her marriage, beauty/fashion, and her unique brand of pure comedy, via her wildly popular social media platforms.

Jeannette is known all over social media for her viral “anchor voice” clips that she does solo, and with her equally hilarious husband, Robert Burton who also is an on-air news anchor with a competing station in the DMV.

Their anchor voice personas are so popular, that the couple appeared on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ in 2022 after going viral. 

With over 2 million followers across her “Ms. News Lady” social media handles including TikTok and Instagram, Jeannette has a fan base that many suspected would follow her into whatever career endeavor she ventured to next. 

Well, during her time away from the camera over the past month, Jeannette has teased several projects on social media that she’s been diving into.

Some of these include partnerships with Target, voice-over work for the film “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever” on Disney Plus, and Nike for their new Baby/Toddler shoe endorsed by the APMA for healthy foot development.
