It’s been a long time coming for Lil Kim fans, but the rap royal is finally ready to release her new mixtape ‘Hardcore’ and the sets accompanying artwork was just unveiled.

The cover pays homage to Kim’s classic 1996 debut album of the same name, and features a black panther covered in diamonds, while a portrait of the Queen Bee adorns the fireplace.

The set which was announced back in July 2013 and was supposed to arrive on Halloween 2013, experienced multiple delays including Kim getting pregnant.

Kim has been making up for lost time the past month with the releases of the ‘Flawless'(Remix), ‘Hot N***** (Remix), ‘No Flex Zone (Remix)’, ‘Fancy (Remix)’ the Nicki Minaj diss record ‘Identity Theft’ and the previously released ‘Look Like Money’ which are all set to appear on the mixtape.

The set which will arrive this Thursday September 11 at 9:11 PM is the follow up to her 2o11 mix tape ‘Black Friday’. As exciting as the release is one can only hope that a full album is in the works, as Kim has not dropped a full length LP since 2005’s ‘The Naked Truth’.
