It’s finally happening!
After teasing the possibility of a collaboration, Cardi B and Lil Kim have finally hit the studio to make it happen.
Fresh off her remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Plan B,’ which arrived last week, the Queen Bee hit the studio with Cardi over the weekend in the studio cooking up something.
The clip which hit the net on Saturday shows Kim and Cardi in the studio with a few people including Swizz Beatz, A$AP Ferg, and Kim’s daughter, Royal Reign.

The session comes after Cardi revealed in multiple interviews that she wanted to work with Kim and had a few songs in mind for their collaboration but wanted to make sure the song and timing was right. Kim also teased the desire to work with Cardi a few years ago when she alluded that she wanted to do a ‘Ladies Night’ remake with Cardi and Remy Ma.
Cardi most recently spoke about the plans to collaborate back in July during a series of press rounds which included her stopping by Hot 97. During her visit, she revealed that her latest plan was to do a remake of Kim’s ‘Notorious K.I.M.’ fan-fave track ‘Aunt Dot.’
