We told you previously that Usher was working on his new album, the highly anticipated sequel to his most successful album to date ‘Confessions.’
‘Confessions 2‘ has been in the works for some time now, and while the singer dropped an EP, and appeared on a few singles since it was announced the album was on the way–now he’s given fans an official taste of the new project.
On Monday, the R&B crooner performed on an online concert stream titled ‘Live from the Cricket Lounge‘ in Los Angeles on and the singer debuted a new song.
Usher debuted the new song ‘Confessions 3‘ which is the third installment of the hit song from the ‘Confessions’ album, and the track contains some very cryptic lyrics that have fans speculating.
“Remember that time I was sitting up sick, couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night? / You said, ‘Babe, let me take you to the ER’ / I said, ‘Nah, Ima be alright’ / Well, the next day I found out from fuckin’ around that the sickness I had was life / And I was fixed to keeping the decision to keep it / Knowing I had to get rid of it.” the singer croons.
He continues, “You thought what you put on me from Part 2 was the realest shit” before asking the crowd, “You realize what I just told you? You don’t realize it, huh?”

Fans took to social media to speculate what the singer was alluding to, since he’s was in major headlines regarding the status of his health.
