Janelle Monáe and her Wondaland Records family including Jidenna, St. BeautyDeep Cotton and Roman Gianarthur appeared on Huff Post Live on Friday August 21 to discuss their current movement, music and more.

The collective who is on their eight city #EephusTour sat down with the outlet and was interviewed by Karamo Brown and dished on their work within the communities they are touring and their feelings on police brutality and the black lives matter movement and so much more.

The group touched briefly on the subject last week but was cut off after their performance on the “Today” show when cameras went to commercial. Janelle dished on whether she thought this was intentional or not and continued expressing her views. Get into the deeply moving discussion below.
