Actor/singer Tyrese stopped by ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ for the first time in a few years on Wednesday (Oct.23) to promote his new film ‘Black and Blue‘ out this weekend and catch up on all that’s been going on in his life.
Ty remained pretty tight-lipped and reserved but did open up on some of his ongoing legal drama over his well documented parental custody issues with his ex-wife.
When Wendy attempted to get an update on the status of his ongoing beef with former ‘Fast & Furious’ co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ty grazed over the matter but gave just a tad bit of shade.
He also dished on his hiatus from music and more. Get into that below.
One of the highlights though came after the cameras went to commercial break and Tyrese revealed to Wendy the reason he hadn’t been to the show in several years was that Wendy’s now estranged ex-husband, Kevin Hunter had him banned from the show over claims that he was allegedly “flirting” with Wendy.
This tidbit was apparently unbeknownst to Wendy who made sure to address it during the next segment of the show once the cameras came back up. Wendy was so bothered by the revelation, that she playfully kept the shade of it going throughout the entire segment.

Following the show, Tyrese took to social media late Wednesday to address Wendy revealing the private revelation on air. Ty says that since the show aired early Wednesday, he’s been receiving “blocked” calls from a number (seemingly Kevin).
