After weeks of teasing, Janet Jackson officially kicked off the second leg of her highly-anticipated ‘Together Again World Tour’ on Tuesday night (May 4).

The Queen of Pop hit the stage at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA to a sold-out show including celebrity attendees such as Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kris Jenner!

The anticipation for the tour was taken to the next level after her longtime creative director, Gil Duldulao says fans would see a ‘new Janet’ this second leg.

Fans know, that Jackson kicked off the initial tour in 2023 and it became her most successful outing to date prompting her to expand and announce a new leg for summer/fall 2024.

“It’s elevated and it’s club music, so it hits you hard from the get go, then we get into her hits,” Duldulao said. “I think people aren’t going to expect the first half of the show because she hasn’t played any of these songs on tour ever, and that’s what sets this tour apart. Choreographically and even the way she sings these songs, you’re going to see a new Janet. There’s so much to look forward to.”
