Teyana Taylor Blasts The Recording Academy Over Lack of Female R&B Nominations For 2021 GRAMMYs: “All I See Is D**k”

Posted November 24, 2020

On Tuesday (Nov. 24) the 2021 GRAMMY nominations were unveiled and as you may have heard by now, many folks are not happy with this year’s list.

As expected, there were some major snubs and fans and artists alike have taken to social media to sound off about it.

One of those artists was singer Teyana Taylor who is not happy with the Recording Academy for snubbing her entirely as her project ‘The Album‘ which arrived earlier this year, received not one nomination.

Despite being one of her best and most acclaimed releases to date, the project received no love from the Academy and Tey took to social media to blast them for what she says is clear sexism against her and other R&B female artists.

She took back to Twitter to clarify that she was blasting the academy and NOT the artists nominated in the categories, after one of the outlets tweeted suggesting that.

Teyana continued to vent by sharing a ton of tweets from fans and others who agree and feel that artists like her, Kehlani, Brandy, Toni Braxton, and others were slighted this year.

In case you missed it, here are some of the major nominees/lists below.
