It’s been a tough few months over at Cash Money, following the public declaration of rapper Tyga who outed the label and their seemingly picture perfect image, then revealing that he was being held hostage and wanted off the label.
Then weeks later the man who brought many of the artists in, Lil Wayne revealed that he in fact was frustrated with the label and the man who he referred to as his father, Birdman. Wayne declared as well that he would soon be leaving the label but Birdman has made it very clear that he has no plans of letting that happen.
This week though Wayne took things to another level when he dropped his ‘Sorry For The Wait 2’ EP which held a Cash Money diss track ‘Coco’
According to TMZ lawyers and others for Wayne and Birdman are in talks, but Wayne has threatened a lawsuit if his album isn’t released.
TMZ’s Birdman sources say the mogul won’t budge and will only release the album on his terms. And he will fight Wayne if he sues to get out of his contract. As far as Birdman’s response to the new diss track, nothing as of yet but we’re sure he will handle things the way only a business man could, grimmy!
