Shaunie O’ Neal is set to appear on the upcoming tenth season of ‘Basketball Wives’ as we previously told you, but now it’s been announced that the BBWs boss has landed her own spin-off series.
The series will be a wedding special and will focus on Shaunie’s recent engagement and wedding to her fiancé, Pastor Keion Henderson. The limited series will broadcast on VH1 and will include some women from “BBW” as part of O’Neal’s bridal party.
Fans should expect to see Shaunie’s BFF, Evelyn Lozada appear in her spin-off, as she announced last year that she would not be returning to ‘Basketball Wives’ for the new season.
As fans know, Lozada had previously landed her own wedding spinoff back in 2012 with her then-fiancé Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson but the eight-episode special was scrapped following Evelyn and Chad’s headline-making domestic violence incident that year.
Shaunie and Keion began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement last year on Nov. 11. No word on when fans can expect to see the new series but we’re sure it will coincide with the new season of BBWs.
