‘Living Single’ is celebrating its 30th anniversary and fans are taking to social media to share their love for the groundbreaking show!

The hit series aired for five seasons on the FOX network, from August 22, 1993, to January 1, 1998, and starred Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, Kim Fields, John Henton, and T.C. Carson.

As diehard fans know, the comedy focused on a group of friends living in New York as they navigated their love lives, careers, and friendships in the Big Apple.

The series inspired future shows such as ‘Girlfriends,’ ‘Sex In The City,’ and ‘Friends’ who directly crafted their show after ‘Living Single’ according to Queen Latifah.

For years fans have been calling for a ‘Living Single’ reboot or reunion, which the cast has teased the possibility of in various interviews including Queen herself who said during a ‘Watch What Happens Live’ visit a few years ago, that something was in the works.

Well, last week, fans took to social media to post their tributes, memories, throwback clips, and more from the hit show to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

As expected, the celebration and love made their way to the timelines and feeds of the cast including Kim Field who played the show’s fashion-forward diva, Régine Hunter.

Fields took to Instagram to make an emotional post thanking fans for their love, and support throughout her career, but specifically for the last 30 as it pertains to the dedicated ‘Living Single’ fans.
