Iman Shumpert Becomes First NBA Player To Make It To DWTS Finals+Dishes on Competing, Parenthood & Marriage with Teyana Taylor at ‘The Real’ [Interview & Performances]

Posted November 16, 2021

Iman Shumpert has officially made it to the finals of season 30 of ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ making him the first NBA player to make it this far in the history of the competition show.

The baller dad danced his way from some pretty harsh critique at the beginning of the season, all the way to the final four nine weeks later alongside his partner Daniella Karagach following Monday night’s latest episode of the ballroom dance competition.

Monday’s show featured his performance to Kanye West’s “Dark Fantasy” (a song notably featuring vocals from his wife, Teyana Taylor) as well as a redemption Tango to “Telephone” by Martynas.

His scores from the judges, and viewers, and undeniably being the fan fave and underdog, has secured him a spot in next week’s finale where he will battle it out against JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, Cody Rigsby, and Cheryl Burke, as well as Amanda Kloots, and Alan Bersten.

On Monday, he also stopped by ‘The Real‘ to dish on the competition, raising his daughters, and balancing marriage and parenthood with his wife, Teyana. He also dished on how they challenge and push each other to be better. Get into it below.

Here’s hoping Iman takes home the big win next week! Keep voting for him!
