D.C. Go-Go legend Sugar Bear is reacting to the iconic moment at Sunday night’s Oscars where actress Glenn Close gave major love to him, his classic hit single, the DMV, and Go-Go music.

As we previously told you, during a trivia game played with the audience, guests were asked to guess if the song played by event DJ Questlove was an Oscar winner, an Oscar nominee, or neither. When it was time for the legendary actress to test her knowledge, she aced it with flying colors.

Questlove played ‘Da Butt,’ which is a single released in 1988 by the D.C.-based go-go band E.U. It appeared in the original soundtrack to Spike Lee’s ‘School Daze.’

Close not only knew the song, but also knew the details surrounding the song. If you missed it, get into it below.
