Fans of the VH1 scripted drama series ‘Single Ladies’ who are enjoying the current season 3 which just started a few weeks ago, better take it all in while they can. According to reports the series which first debuted back in 2011, is now cancelled after the current season ends.

The show which is the brainchild of Queen Latifah‘s Flava Unit productions, will run its series finale on March 24. VH1 released an exclusive statement about ending the show:

“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,” VH1 said in a statement to Deadline. “Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”

The show appears to be leaving out on a high note though based on the ratings. Its third season opener drew 2.6 million viewers. For the premiere airing and its same night encore combined, Single Ladies grew each seasons:, posting 2.9 for the season premiere, 3.2 million for the Season 2 opener and 3.5 million for Season 3.

One thing’s for sure!! I am definitely gonna miss that theme song!!
