She revealed that Ja Rule and her other past label mates are all in support of her, despite Irv’s recent comments regarding her re-recording the project against his wishes.

Elsewhere, also dished on her upcoming ‘Lady of Soul’ award she is set to receive at the 2021 Soul Train Awards, being part of the male-dominated ‘The Millennium Tour,’ her upcoming movie, book, a new documentary, her diet and workout routine, her most memorable encounter with DMX, supporting her brothers Ja and Fat Joe at their recent Verzuz, seeing her ex, Nelly there and much more!

She was also joined by her mom-ager and sister, Shia Douglas who dished on her traumatizing domestic abuse situation with her ex who many are saying is Slow Bucks, a clothing entrepreneur who was also in late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s circle.

As expected, Irv took to social media following the interview to respond to Ashanti revealing she is re-recording her debut album.
