Winning: ‘RHOP’ Becomes Bravo’s Highest-Rated Series Premiere in Franchise History, While ‘RHOA’ Scores Ratings Gold [Details]

“People come for me all the time, they just never find me”

That statement made by Karen Huger, of the new series Real Housewives of Potomac may stand true for haters, however the same came not be said for the show’s viewers. It appears the people came searching and definitely found it’s new crop of reality TV ladies to indulge in.

Bravo has coined their new Sunday night lineup- which consists of Real Housewives of Atlanta and Real Housewives of Potomac, #ShadySundays and it looks like the combination of both shows has made them the winning network on cable television.

According to confirmed reports, the newest addition to the Housewives franchise has broken Bravo records and made them the new MVP for the network. Despite mixed feedback from viewers and social media on the show’s premiere last Sunday (Jan 17), RHOP opened with booming ratings. Via a press release from NBC Universal, the parent company of Bravo:

Behind the strength of the series premiere of “TheReal Housewives of Potomac” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Bravo Mediaranked #1 among P18-49 in prime this past Sunday among ad-supported cable networks, according to Nielsen Live+3 data. At 9pm, “TheReal Housewives of Potomac”delivered over 2.5 million total viewers, 1.5 million P18-49 and over 1.4 million P25-54, making it the highest-rated series premiere of “The Real Housewives” franchise among all key demos. Starting off the night at 8pm, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” scored over 4 million total viewers, 2.4 million P18-49 and over 2.4 million P25-54, making it the most-watched episode of the season-to-date. Additionally, both #RHOP and #RHOA were trending on Twitter in the U.S. during their respective broadcasts.
