Unless you live under a rock, or you’re one of those people who “doesn’t watch reality TV” then you are very aware that the current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is underway and is set to be the best season yet. Kandi Burruss appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night alongside Fantasia Barrino to chat with Andy Cohen about the show and the smoking hot topic of her mom Joyce.

If you aren’t aware Joyce has expressed her disapproval of Kandi’s fiance Todd and shunned their upcoming marriage, calling Todd everything from a cheap opportunist to a cheater on and off camera.

As engaged as ever, the fans have taken to social media weekly to express their thoughts on Joyce and the way Kandi has allowed her mom to ruin her relationships. After a caller questioned Kandi on her mother’s behavior, Kandi broke down and took her mother’s defense and vented her anger at Andy and fans for judging so strongly.

Kandi even stated that comments that cast mate Cynthia Bailey made during her appearance to WWHL last Sunday have caused tension between Joyce and Kandi and that her mom is currently not speaking to her.
