Monday night VH1 aired the highly anticipated ‘I Love New York Reunited‘ special with the HBIC herself Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard as previously announced.

The reunion was hosted by Vivica A. Fox and saw the reality Queen Bee reunite with several of the guys who competed on the show from both seasons 1 and 2, as well as her mom Sister Patterson.

Tiff was joined by several of the past contestants such as Tango, Tailor Made, Whiteboy, The Entertainer, and Mr. Boston in person and via video. She also reunited with Jamal Trulove aka Milliown who came to discuss the life-changing events that he experienced shortly after he departed the show.

Trulove was framed by San Francisco police for the 2007 murder of an acquaintance, convicted in 2010, sentenced to 50 years to life, and imprisoned for six years.

A California appeals court overturned his conviction in 2014 and he was retried in 2015 and acquitted. In 2016 he sued the city of San Francisco. In April 2018 a jury found the two officers accused of framing him guilty of fabricating evidence and failing to disclose exculpatory evidence. In 2019 he was awarded a settlement of $13.1 million.

Elsewhere in the reunion, Tiffany and Tango hashed out some of their past issues including Tango dumping her on the season 1 reunion after she chose him as her winner, and ultimately got engaged. They also discussed issues Tiffany had with Tango doing slanderous interviews about her after their breakup.

The most shocking moment of the night came when it was revealed that Chance, the runner up for season 1 (who competed against Tango) was invited to the reunion but declined. The news came as a surprise to Tiffany as they have been friends and kept in contact over the years, and even recently Tiffany joined Chance on his new Zeus Network dating show ‘One Mo Chance.’

In a somber moment, the group did a tribute to Chane’s brother Ahmad Givens aka Real, who passed away in 2015 after a silent battle with colon cancer.

Before it all wrapped, Tiff delivered a major surprise and announced that she is currently in a relationship with a guy that she’s been with for quite some time and they are now engaged.
