Finally, Spring is upon us–and what better way to celebrate the first day of the season than with music that gets the temperature rising, or at least reminds us of the warmer days to come.
Pulling from the 1998 debut album from Nicole Wray comes ‘Make It Hot’ written by Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott, Timbaland, and A. Richards, the track was also produced by Timbaland and featured female rapper Mocha.
“Make It Hot” reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks, #5 on the Top 40 Mainstream, #6 on the Rhythmic Top 40,and #40 on the Top 40 Tracks. The song also hit #22 on the UK charts. Get into it “hot” throwback below.
