The double doors officially opened and closed one last time on Friday at ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ with guest host, Sherri Shepherd.

As previously confirmed, the hit talk show was canceled after 13 amazing seasons following Wendy Williams’ extended absence this entire season due to medical issues and other personal matters she has been dealing with.

While Wendy teased months ago that she would be returning to her purple chair soon to save the show from its pending cancelation, fans were disappointed that the claims never came to fruition. The continued with Sherri and others filing in as guest hosts following the cancelation announcement, but fans kept hope alive that Wendy would return.

Friday, was the official last episode and as expected, Wendy was not in attendance. Despite her absence, a video tribute honoring Wendy was aired on the final episode. Get into it below.
