The Beyhive Drags Saucy Santana Over Perceived Beyonce ‘Break My Soul’ Shade After Posting Azealia Banks’ House-Inspired Music In New Tweets[Details]

Posted June 21, 2022

Beyonce dropped her new single last night, and social media is going crazy over it.

While many love the uptempo dance song, there are many who are not quite feeling the house-inspired bop that features Big Freedia and a sample of the Robin S hit ‘Show Me Love’ as the backdrop.

Some critics are not feeling the direction that Bey and Drake are going in with their new projects, which are odes to 90s House music; and some feel that the two are jocking a style that has long been done.

On Monday, Saucy Santana took to social media to share a series of tweets that raised eyebrows after he seemingly threw shade at Bey’s “new sound.”

Saucy tweeted a screenshot of him listening to Azealia Banks’ 2012 project ‘1991’–which featured full-on House music inspired by the 90s.

He then came back and shared another screenshot of Madonna‘s ‘Celebration‘ which also was House inspired.

The tweets (and insinuation that Bey is copying) did not sit well with fans who instantly took to his page to respond.

The fresh backlash comes just days after Saucy was back in the headlines over some controversial tweets from 2014 where he took aim at Bey and her daughter Blue Ivy.

At the time, he called a then-2-year-old Blue Ivy “nappy headed” and claimed he was “prettier” than her famous mom. He’s since deleted all the offensive tweets from his timeline, but the screenshots resurfaced days ago giving fresh life to the drama.

“Fake woke a– bi—es!!!! People don’t care about old tweets,” Santana fired off. “The internet have this weird thing with power! Thinking they have the power to cancel someone… NEWS FLASH! You don’t! Y’all be thinking y’all have someone by the balls about situations you don’t give a damn about.”

He then added “Stop all that cap! Tryna ruin ppl Careers cuz you at home miserable and broke. I was miserable and broke too making childish, hateful tweets in 2014. Im 28 years old. A grown a– adult. A completely different mindset on life from when I was 20. But, yall knew dat.”

Needless to say, his new tweet is not doing him any favors.
