Tamar Braxton Reveals ‘Braxton Family Values’ WILL Return on New Network, NOT WEtv [Video]

Posted October 6, 2021

Fans of ‘Braxton Family Values‘ have been on edge waiting on word as to whether the show would be returning or not, following the drama that played out on the show and behind the scenes the past couple of seasons.

Specifically, Tamar Braxton took issue with how things were being handled behind the scenes with their network, WE tv. Tamar had ongoing tension with her sisters, and blamed that on producers, as well as expressed her concerns over the lack of adequate pay that the sisters were receiving.

After her highly-publicized suicide attempt, WE tv released Tamar from her contract and filmed their most recent season of BFV without her–leaving only Toni Braxton, Trina Braxton, Traci Braxton, Towanda Braxton, and mom Evelyn Braxton to film the series.

Well, during a recent performance, Tamar opened up about the future of the show revealing that it will indeed return but says it will not be on We tv and that the sisters are taking more control over their show and the narrative that is depicted.

“How many of y’all miss Braxton Family Values? What if I told you ‘Braxton Family Values’ is coming back? Not with a foolish network, I can tell you that. Because the truth is, the true depiction of a Black American family is not a bunch of foolishness. And the other part of the truth is I ain’t about to let the devil use me like that for people’s entertainment purposes. It’s a no for me, dog.”

“I mean I’m not saying that families don’t go through stuff because we do. I’m not saying that we’re not ratchet because we are. But only we can tell our story.”

Get into it below.
