In why is she so bitter news, Danity Kane former member D. Woods has been making contradictory statements as to why she did not return to the group for their headline making reunion. Back when it was announced that the ladies were definitely moving forward with the long awaited return, D. Woods declared that she choose not to return to the group due to previously scheduled engagements that she could not get out of but wished the ladies well on their success, peep her statement to US weekly below:
Much love to the ladies of DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on,
For the past couple of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater and philanthropy and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year. My latest single “Gold Mine” is now available everywhere!
If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again,” she continued. “I appreciate all the love and support of DK and myself. God bless!”
Perhaps D. Woods was not expecting the ladies reunion to be as big as it has been, the ladies sold out their comeback show at House of Blues in LA last weekend which we showed you
HERE and received rave reviews from fans and critics. The ladies are currently in the studio working on their new album for release next year.
Well D. Woods seems to be confused as to what transpired with Danity Kane as of this weekend she backtracked and says she was not invited to participate, according to
TMZ:
“Original Danity Kane singer D. Woods would have LOVED to perform with the group during their reunion concert in L.A. this week … only problem, she says they didn’t invite her.
Woods tells us she first heard about the groups reunion plans back in May — but not through the girls — instead she learned via TMZ … when we shot the girls meeting up with a new manager.
The 29-year old singer says none of the girls ever expressed any interest in a reunion after breaking up 5 years ago … and Woods was met with resistance every time she tried.”
