Sevyn Streeter kicked off her week with an appearance at ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Monday where she chatted with Angela Yee, Charlamagne, and DJ Envy. In true BC fashion the crew started off the interview by giving the singer a shot of alcohol to help her loosen up.

Sevyn quickly obliged as she went on to discuss her new single ‘Don’t Kill The Fun, dished on her relationship with rapper B.o.B., signing to Chris Brown’s label and how their professional relationship came about.

Sevyn revealed that she met Chris years ago while she was still in Richgirl and was bold enough to walk into a recording session he was having in the same studio as her group. She asked him if they could write together and from there their business relationship flourished. She reveals although he gives wonderful advice and helps when needed, she truly appreciates his hands off approach to her career and allowing her to find herself without being a dictator.

Elsewhere she dished on her thoughts of Karrueche Tran’s interview with Iyanla Vanzant and whterher or not she has seen Chris’ daughter. Check it all out in the interview below.
