Fans of August Alsina were relieved to hear that the singer had come out of his three day coma on Friday. He posted a snap of himself still in his hospital bed and shared on Instagram with the caption:
“This is a bit graphic but I wanted to share this w/ every follower of mine. iWoke up out of a 3 day coma… &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side,” he captioned the photo.
“What I’m tryna say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second’. I’m recovering well and thankyou for all of your prayers & concerns.”
It appears days later the singer is progressing and received a surprise visit from his good friend and collaborater Nicki Minaj. The ‘Anaconda’ slayer posted a snap of the two in his hospital room with the caption below.
The singer who was moved by his “big sis” support also took to Twitter to share another pic of the pair. August had just unveiled the music video for his new single ‘No Love (Remix)’ that features Nicki on the day that he collapsed on stage last week.
