NeNe Leakes Reveals To Wendy Williams On Her ‘RHOA’ Exit “There’s Not Enough Money, I Know My Worth” [Video]

The Wendy Williams Show‘ returned to the air on Monday for its highly anticipated 12th season, and with it came a summer recap from Wendy Williams, and an hour-long ‘Hot Topics’ segment.

Of course, one of the most expected “hot topics” was the news that her good friend NeNe Leakes is officially departing ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ ahead of season 13 as previously revealed last week.

Williams revealed that she actually talked to Leakes and got some insider scoop, and she also gave her own take on why Leakes actually left.

“It’s a money thing,”

“She said she can’t do it. She knows what she’s worth and she can’t be there. There’s not enough filming time for her to make sense and there’s not enough money in it for her to make sense.”

“NeNe will always be the queen bee and I don’t believe she won’t be back,” she commented. “I think she likes a lot of attention and I think Bravo likes to boil the pot and bring them back.”

Wendy revealed that she also texted good friend Andy Cohen, who is the executive producer of RHOA and the other ‘Housewives’ shows at Bravo, and got his take on it.

“he texted back and said [there will be] ‘a lot of surprises this season.’”

As previously revealed, RHOA season 13 will be welcoming a few new ladies in social media influence LaToya Ali and actress/singer, Drew Sidora. There are also talks of another potential lady joining the fold, but nothing is final just yet.
