The legendary and groundbreaking Teddy Riley visited ‘The Breakfast Club‘ earlier this week to dish on his iconic rise in the music industry, creating and orchestrating the entire New Jack Swing sound and era, his new biopic and so much more.

He dished on his relationship and issues with good friend Bobby Brown, and some juicy details that he says were left out of ‘The Bobby Brown Story’ last month. He reveals that he had major issues with Bobby and BET keeping the Janet Jackson drama in the film, and also admits that he tried to talk Bobby out of marrying Whitney Houston. He feels that if they had not got married, Whitney would still be alive and Bobby would be a much bigger star.

He also talks some past issues with Suge Knight when Suge approached him about coming over to Death Row Records and Teddy declined, which then sparked a short lived feud. He also went on to dish on some drama between New Edition and Guy and the reason he ultimately quit Guy in 1990.

He also made a shocking revelation about how after being at he height of fame and success, he lost it all and had to move back to the projects in New York and had to start over. That and many more gems below.
