Lizzo brought down the house and brought out some very, very special guests at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Friday (Nov. 18) during the closing night of the North American leg of her ‘Special Tour.‘

Lizzo was surprised by Missy Elliott who came out to join her to perform their 2019 collaboration ‘Tempo,’ which appears on Lizzo’s album ‘Cuz I Love You.’ This marks the second time the pair have performed the track together, the first time was in 2019 at the MTV Video Music Awards that year.

She also shared a few words for the living legend and icon who she recently supported as well by appearing and speaking at Missy’s Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring last year.

“You have no idea what you have done for so many Black girls. We don’t deserve you. We don’t deserve Missy Elliott, and still, you continue to give to us, and you’ve given with your heart. Your genius. Let me just drop some words: Genius! Icon! Queen of hip hop! Visionary!”

That wasn’t all she had up her sleeve! Just as ‘Tempo’ came to a close, Lizzo’s other hit ‘Rumors’ started and she was then joined by a second surprise guest, Cardi B.

Lizzo took to Twitter after the show to show love to both Missy and Cardi.

Cardi and Missy caught up backstage right after the performance to show each other some love.
