Lil Kim is hot on the promo trail for her new album ‘9’ and after stopping by the ABC studios on Tuesday (Oct. 8) to make her rounds, Queen Bee stopped by ‘BUILD‘ to continue dishing on the album, her storied career, being a fashion icon and so much more.
During her visit, Kim opened up on what fans can expect from the highly anticipated 2 part album and gave some major teasers for what fans can expect from the second part of the album that is slated to drop at a later date–after part one arrives on Friday (Oct. 11).
Kim revealed that the second half has many different sounds including a collaboration with Missy Elliott and a surprise guest, as well as a record that “fans have been asking for for a long time.” She teased “Bloody”, and has fans instantly began alluding to it being her fan fave cut ‘Aunt Dot‘ from her sophomore album ‘The Notorious K.I.M.’
She also dished on her thoughts of a ‘Lady Marmalade’ or ‘Ladies Night’ remake (which Cardi B recently indicated she wants to do). Kim says she is here for the idea and thinks Cardi can certainly execute that well.
She also revealed that she’s working on a new clothing line, as well as a boutique to sell some of her vintage pieces for fans and much more. Get into it below.
