Kim Burrell may not be getting the support of her peers as she might have expected following her controversial sermon against homosexuality just days ago.
Following her sermon, and subsequent response to her statement and backlash, now her fellow gospel peers and collaborators are speaking out against, what they call “hate speech,”
Yolanda Adams took to social media to respond to Kim’s statements about homosexuality, and defended her friend, Pastor Eddie Long, who was also referenced in Kim’s sermon regarding his alleged homosexual activity as it relates to his recent sickness.
Chaka Khan also took to social media to chime in on the matter.
It NEVER fails that ministries promoting judgment & hate have NOTHING 2 do with the divine. LOVE is 4 EVERYONE! #SelectiveMorality

Elsewhere, Kim’s collaborator, Pharrell Williams also spoke out against her remarks. The two have recently collaborated and are slated to perform their song together on “Ellen” in the coming days. Get into his thoughts below.
