Last week Janet Jackson made a surprise announcement on Instagram that she would be appearing on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ tonight (Feb.10)–which instantly sent fans into a frenzy anticipating what her visit would entail.

Well, just hours ahead of her visit, it’s been revealed that the Queen of Pop will be announcing her brand new album and tour titled ‘Black Diamond.’

The official promo poster made its rounds on Monday morning along with several outlets confirming the news as well as radio stations beginning promotions for the trek.

According to Jam’n 95.7, iHeart Radio is giving fans the chance to win a competition relating to the tour. Winners will be awarded tickets to her Miami show and will earn themselves a backstage pass to meet Jackson herself. Travel and accommodation will also be paid for.

Jackson has yet to announce the full list of dates for the upcoming tour but it has been said that Miami will be the opening night. According to a Live Nation poster, she will perform new music and will give a special performance of “Rhythm Nation.”

Just last year Janet held down her first-ever Las Vegas residency with her ‘Metamorphosis’ set which did extremely well during its 3-month run. The album will be her first since 2015’s ‘Unbreakable.’

Janet has taken to Instagram to confirm the news and unveiled official tour dates.
