We previously told you that Issa Rae was working on a new scripted series following the end of her hit series ‘Insecure’ over at HBO Max.

Now, the series ‘Rap Shit’ which is co-executive-produced by rap duo, City Girls, has snagged a premiere date and an official trailer.

The comedy series is set to tell the story of two estranged high school friends Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion) from Miami as they reunite to form a female rap group while navigating their crazy lives, relationships, dating, and more.
