Posted September 25, 2022

After years of fans calling for it, Rihanna is now officially set to headline the 2023 Superbowl Halftime Show.

Though Riri has reportedly been in talks before to do the big show but reportedly declined, the singer is singing a new tune now that her label family Roc Nation and Jay-Z have produced the halftime show in recent years.

Over the weekend, rumors that Rihanna was in talks to perform began rumbling, then on Sunday the singer took to her official Instagram to confirm the news.

The NFLApple Music, and Roc Nation also jointly announced the news.

The news comes as fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of her highly-anticipated 9th album–the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Anti.’

We’re sure the new music will certainly arrive and be part of her halftime show. Stay tuned.
