Cardi B is taking her reign from the music world to the acting world as it was announced this week that she has landed her first feature film debut alongside Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming stripper saga ‘Hustlers.’
In addition to Cardi and J.Lo, the film will star Keke Palmer, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Julia Stiles and Mercedes Ruehl and will center around a group of revenge-seeking strippers, who band together to scam their male Wall Street clients out of thousands of dollars, according to reports.
The film, directed by Lorene Scafaria and produced by STXfilms, is based on the 2015 New York Magazine article titled ‘The Hustlers At Scores’ written by Jessica Pressler.
The story is set in New York City during the financial crisis of the early 2000s.
J.Lo’s fiance, Alex Rodriguez shared footage of her on set at rehearsals a few weeks ago practicing her pole dancing moves.
The ladies also took to social media to share the news.
