Last night (April 19) after the explosive finale of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 7, the shows star Kandi Burruss and music, TV, film and now Broadway superstar Brandy stopped by ‘Watch What Happens Live’ to chat with Andy Cohen. The ladies were also joined by fellow singer and reality TV buff Jazmine Sullivan at the bar. Jazmine is currently on tour but stopped by the Clubhouse following her New York show.

The ladies discussed the drama that went down on RHOA and as well as Brandy going to Broadway to star as Roxie Hart in Chicago starting April 28. Brandy dished on how proud of Nene she is for living out her dreams and doing Cinderella on Broadway which Brandy stared in as Cinderella on TV with Whitney Houston. Elsewhere, Brandy revealed that she is working on a new album that will drop after she is done with Broadway, although she didn’t give much detail she addressed the rumors that she is set to appear on ‘Empire‘ and other television gigs she has in the works. She and Jazmine also discussed their desire to do a collaboration together with Kandi possibly writing the song.

Kandi also addressed her on going issues with Nene and the perception that she hates on her. She dished on whether she and Phaedra’s relationship has gotten better since the season ended, the status of Mama Joyce and Todd’s relationship and talked her upcoming spin off ‘Kandi’s Ski Trip’. She even addressed a cheating rumor regarding Todd and ‘Hollywood Divas’ star Golden Brooks.

During the after show Brandy revealed that out of her own catalog, her favorite album is ‘Full Moon’ and also shared that she came up with the idea for ‘The Boy Is Mine’. Meanwhile Kandi discussed her mega hit ‘No Scrubs’, how it came to be and its subsequent success and working with Destiny’s Child for their album ‘Writings on The Wall’. Kandi gave her thoughts on the constant speculation that Nene will leave RHOA, and her thoughts on the show surviving thanks to continuous cast lineup changes.

She revealed that if at some point Nene does leave, the show will still thrive because there are a lot of big personalities that would bring great drama to the show, and they even talked adding actress Mo’Nique. Check out all the clips and snaps courtesy of Bravo and Kandi’s Instagram below.
