Atlanta was the place to be last weekend as BET filmed its 2019 Hip Hop Awards, and the annual event aired on Tuesday night on the network.
As previously confirmed, fans were gifted with performances and appearances from Hip Hop’s current front runners including Megan Thee Stallion, Chance The Rapper, Rick Ross, DaBaby and many more.
Hosted by comedian Lil Duval, fans also saw the highly anticipated I AM HIP HOP Award be presented to honoree and Hip Hop’s Queen–Lil Kim. Queen Bee also took to the stage to get the crowd hype with a action-packed medley of her hits, and featured the first on-stage reunion of Junior M.A.F.I.A.
