Could the original queen of daytime television and media be coming back to our TV screens? According to a new report, Oprah Winfrey quite possibly is working on a reboot of The Oprah Winfrey Show, and she is ready to spend big to make it a success. According to Centric:

“Oprah is hell-bent resurrecting a new version of her TV interview show,” a source told the Globe Magazine. A move that will allegedly see the 62-year-old media proprietor spending a staggering $500 million on its re-launch.

“The bottom line is that Oprah loves the limelight. She misses all the attention that comes with doing blockbuster interviews.”

Launched in 1986, the award-winning show ran for 25 seasons, clocking in 4,561 episodes. The show ended in 2011.

Would you be here for the return of Oprah to daytime? With all the clones and other talk shows that followed the trail that the big O blazed, we would love to see the queen return and give it another go round.
