It looks like ‘The Real‘ has just found their fifth co-host to pull up to the table permanently, and they had to look no further than recurring guest host, Amanda Seales.

According to reports from The Jasmine Brand, Seales will now be coming on as a full-time permanent host for 2020. The fifth seat has been vacant since original co-host, Tamar Braxton departed the show years ago–and they have rotated various guest co-host to join the ladies.

“She guest co-hosted on the show for awhile and they loved her, she really connected with the audience!”

The series began in 2013 with co-hosts Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed after season two. Since her departure, the 5th co-host position had remained vacant, while the show had temporary guest co-hosts.

We’re told that ratings for the series has continued to increase and Amanda Seales will further diversify the points of view and conversations that the show is known for.

“Everyone is really excited about her coming on!”

Congrats Amanda!
