51st Annual NAACP Awards: Rihanna Accepts The President’s Award, Kobe Bryant Honored, Angela Bassett, Lizzo & More Win Big [Videos/Full Winners List]

The 51st Annual NAACP Awards took place on Saturday and aired live on BET and also streamed on other various networks.

Some of our favorites actors, actresses, musicians, films, and series took home trophies in major categories including Lizzo (Entertainer of the Year) and ‘black-ish‘ and ‘When They See Us’ dominating the TV side and ‘Just Mercy’ and ‘Dolemite Is My Name’ taking trophies in the film categories.

Music and fashion icon Rihanna was also in attendance as she was honored with the NAACP President’s Award, and delivered a powerful speech. Get into her win below.
